AACDS is offering training on infection control for Fresh Clinic members.  HLTINF005 Maintain Infection Prevention for Skin Penetration Treatments) is a nationally recognised unit of competency. It provides aesthetic professionals with the essential knowledge and skills to maintain infection prevention in all areas associated with dermal and cosmetic injectable procedures.

Learning focuses on current state or territory hygiene regulations and the key principles of infection prevention in a cosmetic medical context.

Completion of this unit of competency satisfies the requirements to perform higher risk personal appearance services set out in the QLD Public Health Act 2003.

PRAC exceeded my expectations! I learnt so so much! Claire , Natalie and Maria are exceptional in their fields! Honestly such a highlight for me undergoing dermal therapy at AACDS! I have learnt such an array under such amazing mentors! Really enjoyed every aspect of study and especially PRAC. I would highly recommend to anyone! The support, education and development are at the highest level! It's been a huge journey and I wouldn't do it anywhere else!!
