The opportunity to upskill to the 52854WA Graduate Diploma of Dermal Science is only applicable to graduates of the 52850WA Advanced Diploma of Cosmetic Dermal Science. Upskilling allows Dermal Therapists to gain further knowledge and skills in the area of dermatology, dermatoscopy and integrated health. Upskilling involves the successful completion of the following units of competency:
1. CDNPDD02 Apply principles of dermatology and dermatoscopy to cosmetic medicine (theory and practical components)
2. CDNIHD01 Integrate health and dermatology for aesthetic practice

UNIT CDNPDD02 will require a study commitment of approximately 6 hrs per week over 10 weeks, though can be fast-tracked if time allows. The dermatoscopy practical component will involve a half-day at an Aspire Training Clinic (Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Gold Coast).
UNIT CDNIHD01 will require a study commitment of approximately 6 hours per week over 16 weeks, though can be fast-tracked if time allows.
