Previously he worked in private practice acting for various clients in the government and private sector specialising in litigation with a focus on commercial disputes and health regulation. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours), a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (Distinction), a Master of Laws (Health Law), and a Bachelor of Nursing and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance from the Governance Institute of Australia.
